Even more recent update

So I have been a bit absent around these parts. 

But not to worry I have been very busy. 

First things first though

My new zine Dirty Hands Vol. 2 is now available in Quimbys, Shop Columbia and I just mailed a few over to Desert Island in Brooklyn. So for any NYC  people you should see this soon. 

  I will hopefully set up a big cartel so I can hustle some of this stuff via online. 

My parents got me a camera on the occasion that I graduated. So naturally

I took a picture of my dog...

  I have also been scrambling to get things together for CAKE. Which I will be participating in and sharing a table with the amazing Linework editors Nick Drnaso and Kevin Budnik.

recent updates

I recently drew these. I have no idea why I just pumped them out last week.  They remind me of the congratulations stickers from grade school.

 Also this coming Sunday the 8th I will be participating in a comic art battle along side some very talented people. See info on the poster or check out this link. 

So come and watch me battle. 

I will be sure to "step up my game" and bring my "game face" for this. 

Whatever that means.

girls and books.

 I drew some girls a while back. I then altered it by stretching things out a bit 

almost like the way you would do it on a copier.

 Also here is a shot of some recent books that I have been keeping around my drawing area lately. 

I always have books on hand and they change depending on the project I am working on at the moment. 

So I want to photograph them periodically to show where my artistic reference

 and direction might be coming from.

Zine fest came and went. It was great I sold some stuff, traded and bought some even more cool stuff. 

Thanks to anyone who came by my table and said hi, and to all the organizers making zine fest happen.

This is the typical photo of my zine fest haul. Apologies for my weird looking feet in the photo. 

It has been getting warmer which means it's getting closer to summer. And that is a very good thing. 

  

Fold and collate baby!

Getting ready for the Chicago zine fest! I will be on the first floor and will have a least two new zines available for purchase or trade. 

I have just gotten Dirty Hands Vol. 2 trimmed. All copies with block printed covers. 

24 pages on a bright fuchsia paper. All original drawings and some photography.  

Full bleed! although the printer I was using shifted things weird a bit but it still looks really great. 

All issues of Dirty Hands Vol.2 will come with some stickers that I figured out how to print on this laser printer. They will also be available for purchase.

I will have all of my old inventory and a silk screened poster.
